Maternity Portrait Session Information
The wonder is in the waiting, for that sweet baby who will fill your heart with happiness and brighten your life with love. Your pregnancy will be over before you know it. As you wait and dream and hope for the tiny miracle who’s on the way, capture the wonder of this fleeting, unique, one-of-a-kind experience forever with a maternity portrait session. Becoming a mother is one of the most exciting times in your life. When considering maternity photos, reflect on how meaningful photos of your mother during her pregnancy are, or would be, to you. Feeling camera shy? Most people are, but I invite you to let me take the best photo you've ever had taken of yourself. I take great pride in transforming the self conscious "camera shy" client to confident in front of the camera employing my experience and knowledge of flattering poses, lighting and locations (either outdoor or in-studio) combined with a comfortable, friendly, non-judgmental environment throughout your session. Don't be surprised when you fall in love with the images of yourself from your photoshoot. It is an empowering experience you won't want to miss and it is an incredibly rewarding process and journey for me as well.
Are extra pounds or something similar keeping you from participating in family photographs? It is recommend that you schedule your pregnancy portrait session between 28-32 weeks (7-8 months) of your pregnancy. But the timing will vary with each woman but generally speaking we encourage maternity photo sessions when the mother-to-be is comfortable and her baby belly is very round. Since our studio is located on the coastside we have direct and easy access to several seclude beaches, ocean bluff overlooks, lovely lighthouses, and wildflower fields to set the stage for stunning maternity portraits.
